Applications Available for the U.S. Maritime Technology Export Initiative

The Maritime Alliance announced today that applications are available for small U.S. companies to join the U.S. Maritime Technology Export Initiative.  Applications are due December 23 for funding subsidies related to key trade shows and trade missions to increase BlueTech exports.

The U.S. International Trade Administration issued a press release announcing a funding award to The Maritime Alliance (TMA) to launch the first-ever U.S. Maritime Technology Export Initiative.  With $297,000 awarded through the Market Development Cooperator Program, TMA will recruit and coordinate small U.S. BlueTech companies from throughout the United States to attend select trade shows and trade missions, at reduced rates.

The Maritime Alliance hosted a press conference October 28th with U.S. Congresswoman Susan Davis, San Diego County Supervisor Greg Cox and Holly Vineyard, Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for the U.S. Commercial Service to announce the funding.
